Blast Reward Phase 2

Bittime - Blast is preparing to launch the second phase of the rewards program on July 8. A total of 10 billion BLAST tokens will be allocated to support mobile DApp development and attract users to use the DApp through the Blast App.

Blast Reward Phase 2

This reward program will be divided into two parts, namely Blast Points and Blast Gold, each worth 5 billion BLAST. Users can earn points through holding ETH, WETH, USDB, and BLAST. Meanwhile, DApp will get Gold based on their performance on the Blast network.

Users who have installed the Blast App have the opportunity to get a Golden Ticket to increase the speed of earning points and Gold. Previously on June 28, Blast announced that Phase 2 details would be released the following week along with adjustments to the distribution mechanism. Blast Stage 2 user guide is now available. System of Blast Reward Phase 2

Similar to Stage 1, Stage 2 is divided into Blast Points and Blast Gold. A total of 10 billion BLAST is allocated specifically for Stage 2 rewards. The main goal of Stage 2 is to support the development of mobile DApp and attract users to these DApp through Blast App.

Blast Points

As much as 50% of the total Phase 2 reward (5 billion BLAST) is allocated for Blast Points.
Users can earn Blast Points based on their ETH, WETH, USDB, and BLAST holdings.
EOAs (Externally Owned Accounts) and smart contracts earn Points at a ratio of 0.06504987 Points/Block/ETH (each block is 2 seconds long).
USDB and BLAST earns Points at the same ratio as ETH based on its price in ETH. For example, if the price of ETH is $3,500, then USDB will earn Points at a ratio of 0.06504987 Points/Block/3500 USDB.
Stage 1 Vesting: The amount of Stage 1 vesting varies for each vested user depending on their activity in Stage 1. As an estimate, the figure is set at 80% of the vested user's average daily Points gain in Stage 1, excluding multipliers. This means that if users earned an average of 1,000 Points per day in Stage 1 before the multiplier was applied, then their vesting threshold in Stage 2 is 800 Points per day. This means vested users need around 80% of their Phase 1 liquidity to reach the threshold, and with BLIP-2 approved, the number will be even lower as BLAST holdings will also contribute to the threshold.
In addition, vesting is based on the number of Points earned proportionally. So, if a vested user only reaches 50% of their vesting threshold in a given month, they will still receive 50% of that month's unlock. Please note that Points from Golden Tickets do not contribute to the vesting threshold.

Blast Gold

As much as 50% of the total Stage 2 reward (5 billion BLAST) is allocated to Blast Gold.
DApps can earn Gold based on their appeal on the Blast Mainnet and from the upcoming Big Bang competition.
Here are the important details about Blast Gold Level 2:
- Gold distribution will be carried out every first week of every month (except the first Gold distribution which will be launched on July 8).
- There will be separate allocations for new and existing DApps to give new DApp a greater chance of gaining visibility and success (new DApp can connect with Blast Foundation through this form).
- There will be more Big Bang competitions to grow new DApp (especially mobile DApp).
- The DApp is expected to explain the criteria for earning Gold very clearly.
- The DApp is expected to distribute all existing Gold before receiving the next Gold distribution.
- DApp that use BLAST itself in new and significant ways will receive increases in Gold distribution.
- The main focus of Phase 2 is on the mobile DApp within Blast App.
